Seiko SRPD23K1 Prospex 'Save The Ocean' Automatic Blue Dial Men's Watch

$230.00

Description

The Seiko Prospex Samurai 'Save The Ocean' SRPD23K1 is part of Seiko's extensive and legendary diving watch collection, and has received the 'Samurai' nickname. This nickname stems from the sword-shaped hands and angular case design, with sharp, strong lines.

To start, it's a solid 43.8mm in diameter, with a lug to lug distance of 48.4mm and measures approximately 13mm in thickness. That does mean it has a fairly substantial wrist presence, while still being comfortable, also in part to the case shape. 200m water resistance, a Hardlex Mineral crystal, a high level of finishing and a reliable Seiko in-house Cal. 4R35 mechanical, automatic, movement all make this watch into a very serious piece.

This model is part of the 'Save The Ocean' line, of which Seiko makes several designs, in collaboration Fabien Cousteau, the grandson of the legendary ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau. A portion of the sales from these timepieces are donated to ocean conservation efforts.

The Samurai is remarkably elegant presence, despite the aggressive name and a katana is definitely not a prerequisite to own this stunning watch!
